Phebo Stufe wood pellet heaters are made in a little town 1hr out of Venice Italy.

The founder of the company Phebo Stufe is Alessio Da Ros. He had been working in the field of making 'wood fired stoves' for several years before he ventured out with his own brand 'Phebo Stufe' in 1999.

In 2003 he began producing Wood Pellet Heaters. At that time it was a handcrafted product and only three people who had the knowledge to be able to make them.

Nowadays it is an automated production but the stoves still have the quality of a handcrafted product.

In 2004 Alessio Da Ros was the first to introduce the flue exit from the top of the stove. Before that, the pellet stoves had the fume flue exit  from the back, which meant you had to leave 15cm space to fit the pipes.
